11/9/09 15th Jazz & Blues Festival : Our trusty photographer was at the opening of the 15th Annual Jazz & Blues Festival and got these shots. The Australian Army Band Kapooka opened the proceedings, followed by The Syncopators. MC Grant Luhrs filled in the bits in-between with a bit of humour and jocularity!

6/9/09 Exercise Executive Stretch - Day 2 : From late Friday afternoon, 4th Sept, til the same time on Sunday 6th September, the Australian Army Recruit Training Centre at Kapooka played host to "Exercise Executive Stretch". This is a regular event for the Defence Reserves, however this was the first time it was held at Kapooka.

2AAA breakfast presenter Steven Spink, along with media colleagues Bek Holliday and Hayley Hillis from the Daily Advertiser, Anne Delaney from ABC Riverina and Emily Wheeler from WIN TV AND 50 or so Wagga business leaders took part.

1/8/09 Army Band: Freedom of Entry to Wagga Wagga : The Australian Army Band Kapooka has been in existence for over 50 years. Today the City of Wagga Wagga honoured the band by granting it "The Right of Freedom of Entry to The City".

It was a big honour for the band and hundreds of people turned out to see the ceremony.

17/5/09 RSPCA Million Paws Walk : The RSPCA holds the "Million Paws Walk" every year, and this year the newly formed RSPCA Wagga Wagga branch took part. Supported by 2AAA, ABC Riverina and The Daily Advertiser. Boy, it was fun! Breakfast presenter Steven Spink was the guest judge and he took these photos of some of the hundreds of contestants.
